Bleurgh
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 6:12PM Excuse me while I just brush aside the tumble weed rolling past and scoot the dust bunnies into the corner. Its been quiet round these parts recently hasn't it? Maybe I have lost my Blog mojo.
I find myself lacking in inspiration. The mundane tramps through my world with relentless frequency. Furniture issues, check. Boiler choosing to work only when it feels like it just as the weather changes? Oh the joys of home ownership. My blog is littered with half written draft posts. The abadoned children of my skittish brain. Somehow, the ducks on the canal are too captivating, other people's blogs are too compelling to get round to mine.
So tell me, those of you who are still reading along, what sparks your blog mojo, where does your inspiration come from to write those posts I enjoy reading so much on your blogs?
In the meantime, I'll be lifting the rugs to see where my mojo is hiding.

Probably because I have just started my blog, I find myself having lots of ideas for future posts but too little time to actually work on them.
I also have a long list of draft posts which I intended to finish before leaving for my holiday in Argentina, knowing that once there, I will have too little time to even check my mail. But you know what they say, : "the way to Heaven is paved with good intentions..." :o)
Good luck finding your blog mojo! :o)
Nothing useful to contribute, but just posting to say I'll be checking back for answers in your comments, because I'm faced with the same sort of humpf.
Well, as you know I took a break for a long time. Sometimes I have something crazy that just happens to me that gives me something to write about. Sometimes I go a little out of my way for something crazy to happen. Sometimes I have an idea planned in my head for a long time before I write it.
What I sometimes find helps the most is just talking to people and telling them my stories and crazy ideas. It usally sparks something for my blog even if I didn't mean it to.
And once writters block got me so stuck that I took it's power away by writing about it: http://www.invader-stu.com/holland/?p=233
I try not to stress about it -- and try to remember the little things that I see or think about while I'm out and about. Usually by the time I sit down to write something, I've forgotten what I was going to write about. Sometimes, life just isn't that interesting. ;) I'm sure you'll soon have a plethora of topics to blog about. Blogging is like waves; ideas come and go. It sounds better in Italian, somehow: Quest'onda que viene e va. Good luck! Succes!
Hahhaha I know exactly how you feel with the "Lack of mojo". I have also just began not too long ago with the whole blogging thing. BUT I really wish there was some sort of device that was connecting my brain with the laptop so that I could just jot down things I am thinking throughout the day, rather than having to wait until I get a chance to sit down and blog about things when I get a chance to do it. BY that time the ideas are already too processes like an overexposed picture. Advice is welcome !
I don't have any blog mojo. I think I might write a post then realise I have nothing to talk about. My life these days is Dutch lessons - Dutch lessons - sleep - surf on the internet - Dutch lessons.....etc, etc.
How are your lessons going? :-)
I know what you mean! This is partially my blog situation currently as well. I just have draft after draft, piled up with my miscellaneous ideas. I have a lot to share, but I haven't had, like you said, the blog mojo to add the creative-touch to it as I normally enjoy doing ;-) Mostly due to time, but good things are taking up my time. I hope you feel the blog vibes coming again soon! I've just found your blog recently & hope to read much more :-) Have a great week!
